On November 9, 2022, the staff of the Centre of Social and Psychological Sciences met with the International Evaluation Panel (IEP) at the Small Congress Centre SAS. The panel was chaired by prof. Wim van den Doel (Leiden University). Other panel members were prof. Balázs Kiss (Hungarian Academy of Sciences), prof. Özen Nergis Dolcerocca (Bologna University), prof. Markéta Křížová (Charles University in Prague) and prof. Ortwin de Graef (Leuven University).
The meeting was opened by a member of the SAS Presidium, Michal Kšiňan, and after the initial presentation of the panel members, the presentation of the CSPS SAS results achieved in the evaluated period (2016-2021) followed. Director of the CSPS SAS Denisa Fedáková presented the results of the Centre, its achievements and plans. At the end of the presentation, the director of the Centre thanked her colleagues for their cooperation and engagement.
This was followed by a discussion on the questions from the panel members, in which, among others, Richard Filčák, Ivana Studená, Peter Halama and Matúš Adamkovič spoke. The members of the Centre's international advisory panel, Doris Hanzl-Weiß and Peter Gröpel, also contributed to discussion. The discussion resulted in several recommendations of the IEP aimed at increasing the visibility of the Centre's activities and its further development.
After the discussion, a closed meeting of the IEP with doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows followed.
