The International conference EAI Mobility IoT 2021 - 8th EAI International Conference on Mobility, IoT and Smart Cities was held as a fully-fledged online conference on December 10, 2021. The main topics of the conference were technologies and emerging innovations currently affecting both the industry and connectivity sectors of the future of urban, sustainable, and industrial evolution. The Conference was organized by EAI – European Alliance for Innovation, which is a non-profit organization and a professional community empowering global research and innovation and promoting cooperation between European and International ICT communities around the globe.
Conference papers by domestic and foreign authors focused on topics such as smart industrial innovation, smart urban transport systems, Industry 4.0, IoT, sustainable mobility, etc. were presented. All conference papers underwent a thorough peer review process by experts in the Technical Program Committee, enhanced by EAI Community Review.
The Best paper award was granted to authors Ľubica Kotorová Slušná and Miroslav Balog from the Center of Social and Psychological Sciences of SAS (Institute for Forecasting) for their work entitled: Identification of key actors in Industry 4.0 informal R & D network.
The paper will be published in the edited book by Springer/EAI SICC series.
